Installation Step:

Method 1. Open a terminal window.
Type the Following Command in Terminal 
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install fbmessenger

If you are using Arch Linux, you can install Facebook Messenger via AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fbmessenger-git/.

unzip master.zip
cd facebook-master
