Hostid Linux Command Option

Command: hostid

Command Usage: print the numeric identifier in hexadecimal for the current host

Syntax For HostID: $ hostid [option]

Examples For Host ID:

1. To display numeric identifier

    $ hostid

    007f0101

2. To display help info of this command

    $ hostid --help
