Free Office tools for Linux OS
Wherever
computer is used, a suite of office tools that includes applications such as,
word processor, presentation, spread sheet, database etc. is a basic
requirement. The open source community has developed several tools including
- Open Office
- Abi Word
- Liber Office.
- Presenter.
- Gnumeric
- Qhacc.
- K Office and so on.
Some of these tools, Open Office for example, provide
compatibility with proprietary software that enables the users to continue
using the existing documents.
